Founded in 1987 by Dr. Tom Thunder, Acoustic Associates was established to seamlessly blend the fields of audiology (the science of hearing) and acoustics (the science of sound). Today, Thunder Acoustics manages the majority of acoustical consulting services for Acoustic Associates, continuing this legacy of expertise. In 1997, Dr. Thunder became the Course Director for a long-standing CAOHC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) training program, quickly earning recognition as one of the nation's top-ranked instructors. Today, Acoustic Associates proudly offers its highly regarded CAOHC courses in a convenient online format, bringing trusted hearing conservation training to professionals everywhere.
